Our Policies Participants Rights
1. Respect and Dignity: All Individuals have the right to be treated with respect and dignity at all times. This includes being addressed by their preferred name and pronouns, and having their privacy and confidentiality protected.
2. Informed Consent: Individual’s have the right to be fully informed about their treatment options, including the risks and benefits of each option, and to give or withhold their informed consent treatment.
3. Quality of care: Individuals have the right to receive quality care that is appropriate to their needs and provided in a safe and effective manner. This includes having access to appropriate resources, equipment, and personnel.
4. Non-Discrimination: Individuals have the right to receive services without discrimination or harassment based on their age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
5. Access to Information: Individuals have the right to access their own records and to receive information about their treatment plan, progress and discharge planning.
6. Confidentiality: Individuals have the right to file complaints and grievances about their treatment or the services they receive without fear of retaliation. Complaints and grievances should be addressed promptly and thoroughly.
7. Participation in Treatment: Individuals have the right to be involved in their own treatment planning and to make informed decisions about their care. This includes the right to refuse treatment, except as required by law.
8. Culturally Competent Care: Individuals have the right to receive services that are culturally sensitive and responsive to their individual needs and preferences.
